ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

The workshop on "Learn How to Write and Publish a Research Paper" is being organized by Manipal University Jaipur on Jan 11, 2020. The aim of the workshop is to help the participants to structure the scientific content in rightful manner and also discuss new tools of scientific publishing. Participants will be benefited from our eminent experts who had contributed greatly to the research society by publishing plenty of Research Articles/ Books etc. Speakers will provide guidelines to the participants regarding "How to prepare a manuscript", "How to select a Journal for your work", "Submission Ethics" etc. However, every Journal/ Workshop provides author guidelines for submitting research articles, but there are some general ethical issues you should be aware as an author. With the help of hands-on practices as well as query sessions, participant will be able to write their research articles in a better way.

Mr. Aninda Bose is presently working as a Senior Publishing Editor with Springer Nature. Mr. Bose is part of the Global Acquisition Team at Springer Nature and responsible for acquisition of scientific content across the globe. He is responsible for acquisition of content in Interdisciplinary Applied Sciences. He has more than 24 years of industrial experience in marketing and different fields of publishing. Mr. Bose has completed Masters in Organic Chemistry from Delhi University and Masters in Marketing Research from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, Pune. Mr. Bose has delivered more than 95 invited talks on Scientific Writing and Publishing Ethics in reputed Universities, International Conferences and Author Workshops. He has published books for secondary level in Chemistry and is a member of American Chemical Society, USA.

Dr. Jagdish Chand Bansal is an Assistant Professor (Senior Grade) at South Asian University New Delhi and Visiting Research Fellow at Maths and Computer Science, Liverpool Hope University UK. Dr. Bansal has obtained his Ph.D. in Mathematics from IIT Roorkee. Before joining SAU New Delhi he has worked as an Assistant Professor at ABV- Indian Institute of Information Technology and Management Gwalior and BITS Pilani. He is the series editor of the book series Algorithms for Intelligent Systems (AIS) published by Springer. He is the editor in chief of International Journal of Swarm Intelligence (IJSI) published by Inderscience. He is also the Associate Editor of IEEE ACESSS published by IEEE. He is the steering committee member and the general chair of the annual conference series SocProS. He is the general secretary of Soft Computing Research Society (SCRS). His Primary area of interest is Swarm Intelligence and Nature Inspired Optimization Techniques. Recently, he proposed a fission-fusion social structure based optimization algorithm, Spider Monkey Optimization (SMO), which is being applied to various problems from engineering domain. He has published more than 60 research papers in various international journals/conferences. He has supervised Ph.D. theses from ABV-IIITM Gwalior and SAU New Delhi. He has also received Gold Medal at UG and PG level.

Dr. Nilanjan Dey, is an Assistant Professor in Department of Information Technology at Techno India College of Technology, Kolkata, India. He is a visiting fellow of the University of Reading, UK. He is a Visiting Professor at Wenzhou Medical University, China and Duy Tan University, Vietnam, He was an honorary Visiting Scientist at Global Biomedical Technologies Inc., CA, USA (2012-2015). He was awarded his Ph.D. from Jadavpur University in 2015. He has authored/edited more than 45 books with Elsevier, Wiley, CRC Press and Springer, and published more than 300 papers. He is the Editor-in-Chief of International Journal of Ambient Computing and Intelligence, IGI Global, Associated Editor of IEEE Access and International Journal of Information Technology, Springer. He is the Series Co-Editor of Springer Tracts in Nature-Inspired Computing, Springer Nature, Series Co-Editor of Advances in Ubiquitous Sensing Applications for Healthcare , Elsevier, Series Editor of Computational Intelligence in Engineering Problem Solving and Intelligent Signal processing and data analysis, CRC. His main research interests include Medical Imaging, Machine learning, Computer Aided Diagnosis, Data Mining etc. He is the Indian Ambassador of International Federation for Information Processing (IFIP) – Young ICT Group. Recently, he has been awarded as one among the top 10 most published academics in the field of Computer Science in India (2015-17).
